Here is the newly announced Kobo Book reader by, you guessed it...Kobo Inc.  This bare-bones ebook reader will land in May (Canadians only) for $149 and likely the same price for us sometime this summer.  We are having trouble getting over the big Fisher-Price looking button on the front but we can imagine that some people are seriously interested in this thing.  Here are some specs for you:

• 1 GB Memory (~1000 books)
• 7.79 Ounces (221 grams)
• Bluetooth capable
• 2 Week Battery (8000 page turns)
• Quilted back? (Cloth, so it feels more like a book)
